Food poverty is a global issue and Pakistan is no exception. People struggle to make ends meet and go without food for days. In the absence of a welfare state, many poor people rely on the good will of charities and NGOs to acquire basic food necessities. COPE has been instrumental in distributing food in both rural and urban areas of extreme poverty, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is an initiative that is ongoing and the food packs are usually enough to keep an average family fed for a month.

At COPE UK, our food packs initiative is a lifeline for families facing food insecurity and the challenges of poverty. We understand that access to nutritious food is essential—not only for survival but also for nurturing healthy growth and development. Our food packs are thoughtfully assembled to provide a balanced mix of fresh produce, staple foods, and other essential items, ensuring that families can enjoy wholesome, nourishing meals.

By working closely with local suppliers and community organisations, we ensure that every food pack supports both immediate hunger relief and long-term well-being. Each pack is designed with the nutritional needs of children and adults in mind, helping to sustain energy levels for schooling and work, while also promoting healthier lifestyles.

More than just a meal, our food packs serve as a foundation for stability, giving families the strength and confidence to overcome the cycle of poverty. Every pack distributed is a tangible step toward empowering communities and building a brighter, more secure future for all.
